So you've decided you want to learn to dive the JJ-CCR rebreather! Here's some general knowledge you'll need to determine where you will need to begin.
We teach all of our JJ-CCR courses through Technical Diving International. TDI offers the most beneficial and thorough training courses on the JJ-CCR that you will find.
- Air Diluent Training - If you're completely new to CCR diving, you'll need to start with Air Diluent Training, which will teach you about the unit and how to dive it to a maximum depth of 100' with air as your diluent gas source for the dive.
- Air Diluent Deco Training - If you're already certified on the JJ as an Air Diluent Diver then the next course to take is the Air Diluent Decompression Procedures course or what's commonly called Air Dil Deco Training where you'll learn to dive the unit to a maximum depth of 130' with the knowledge to do decompression diving on the unit. Check with your Instructor before enrolling.
- Mixed Gas Training - This training course will teach you to dive the unit to a max depth of 200' using trimix as your diluent gas source. Certain prerequisites are required for this course. Check with your Instructor before enrolling.
- Advanced Mixed Gas Training - This training course will teach you to dive the unit to a max depth of 330' using hypoxic trimix as your diluent gas source. Certain prerequisites are required for this course. Check with your Instructor before enrolling.
